Alex. Brown hires four, promotes one

Deutsche Bank Securities unit brings in some outside talent. Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, the private-client unit of Deutsche Bank Securities , has hired four senior wealth managers away from two of its big-bank competitors in California.

Christopher Frank, Michael Tusing and Michael Huntsman, former Bank of America executives, will join DB Alex. Brown’s Los Angles office. In addition Kyle Harrington, formerly with Wachovia Securities’ private-client group, has been named a managing director and client advisor with DB Alex. Brown in San Francisco.

“As we continue adding significant talent to Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, we are pleased with these recent appointments within PCS,” Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown head Corky Crozier, says in a press release. “ San Francisco and Los Angeles are important markets within , and these appointments show our commitment to our clients in these areas.”

In addition to those outside hires, DB Alex. Brown has made Donald Nejedly manager of its San Francisco office. He had been a wealth advisor there. He reports to John Dudzik, DB Alex. Brown’s head of branch management.

Tusing and Huntsman had been client advisors at Bank of America Private Bank. They’ll perform a similar role with DB Alex. Brown. Frank, who has been hired to advise high-net-worth families, had been a regional president with Bank of America private Bank, overseeing its operations in Southern California.
